Zoya: Kristen and Kennedy

Remember the secret giveaway that Zoya had a few weeks ago?  Well I FINALLY got my polishes in and I'm sooooooooooo HAPPY! :D

For my two freebies, I chose colors from the Winter Neutral Collection.  Kristen is described as a "gull gray...with a mild bluish hue" and Kennedy is a "pale french beige".  Both colors are in the cool category.

For each color I did a base coat, only one color coat, and a coat of Seche Vite.  The quality of these polishes are amazing!  They apply so evenly and opaque with just a single coat.  I'm really into these subdued neutrals as well, they're so quiet and elegant!  (can a color be described as "quiet"? lol)  I'm actually excited to order more Zoya polishes because I think the quality is worth the price.  What's better is that they're vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and come in over 300 shades!  Check 'em out:

  1. the colors you picked out are so cute! i love how kristen looks. it's weird, i always grab the bright stuff when it comes to polish and makeup, because i'm always nervous the pretty pastels like these won't look good on me. my zoya polishes came in a few days ago and i got the silver chrome 'trixie' and a super sparkly hot pink called 'gilda' :) thanks for linking the giveaway in the first place, i never would've known otherwise! these are my first zoya polishes and i love them.

    1. You're welcome! Now I wish I would have had my husband order two bottles as well so that we could "share". :D I'm usually drawn to bright colors as well, they tend to suit my southeast asian complexion. However, these days, it seems like I have a new obsession with subdued pastels. Anywho, your colors sound awesome, I'll check 'em out!

  2. You definitely rock both shades! I picked Neeka and Anja (I can't seem to own enough purple polishes), but they were shipped to my friend in the US and I won't get them till she comes back in May. Kristen doesn't look gray at all! It's such a nice blue on you!

    1. Hey Sunny! Glad you have a friend in the US that can act as your mailbox. :D It's unfortunate that they don't ship overseas. :/ I think it's the lighting, but the Kristen doesn't look as blue in person. Haha. I'm looking forward to seeing your colors! :)
