Pocket Rocket lip glosses in Dustin (nude with iridescent sparkle), Max (nude pink...but looks more salmon), and Rashad (creamy, medium pink)
Eyeshadow in Minx. (blue with green shift and silver glitter)
XL bottle of De Slick oil control mist. A part of my ongoing search for the perfect oil control agent. Still haven't found it yet, so hopefully this is the one! (crossing fingers)
Unfortunately, my makeup is already done for the day, but I'm so excited to put this haul on my face tomorrow! Will update with swatches. :D TGIF!
Hugs,
Cat
Resisting a good clearance sale is next to impossible. Hehe... I've been pondering over buying myself a bottle of De Slick and I'll be looking forward to read your thoughts on it. I have combination skin, but the oiliness on my brow, nose and cheeks kills me. I'm already crossing my fingers for it to work for you. ;o)
ReplyDeleteYes! I've been on the search forever for an oil inhibitor...I have the same problem as you. Hopefully this does the trick!
DeleteI practically did the same thing, got very carried away at my local Urban Decay counter. Unfortunately my stuff wasn't on sale :(
ReplyDeleteThere are definitely pros and cons to massive sales. Pros: cheap cheap cheap and saving $$$$! Cons: Am I really buying because I want these products, or just because they're on sale? LOL! At least you know you purchased your product because you REALLY wanted them. Aside from the De Slick, I'm now second-guessing my motives...haha!
DeleteI've never used De Slick, can you tell me a bit about it? You do have a very good point! I'm just wondering if I have to much make up now. My friends seem to think I have...aha!
DeleteI've got combination skin, but the worst is that my t-zone gets really oily. De Slick is an oil-control mist that you spray on before and after makeup application. It's supposed to make skin more oil-resistant. I'm hoping that it works for me! :)
DeleteI loveeeee De Slick! At first I didn't like it, but that's because I'd only use it before my makeup because I didn't want to use it up (I bought the small travel one). You really do have to put it on before and after your makeup, but it works so great. At the end of the day, my makeup is still in place and no oil (and I am VERY oily). Hope you like it :) I, too, took advantage of the great steal on the website.
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! You don't know how happy I am to hear that! I can't wait to try it out tomorrow! :D
