teeze w/ eez

Hi everyone!  I thought I'd share this really cool new hair styling tool that I got a chance to try out the other day.  It's a revolutionary new teasing tool, specially designed to give your hair lots of volume with little effort.  You know how I love big hair!

The folks over at teeze w/ eez were kind enough to send me some samples so that I could try out their awesome product.  I must say, the teeze w/ eez did not disappoint!

The handle is ergonomically designed so that it feels natural and comfortable to hold and is made out of a soft, grippy material.  I like how they included a cute little crystal embellishment for added sparkle!  But the real star here is the way the teeth are, crimped, criss-crossed, and staggered so that you can easily tease your hair...it does most of the work for you; just a few short, gentle strokes will do the trick!  I find that this method is not only efficient, but less damaging to my hair because it doesn't require a lot of force and repetition.  Check out the results!

From flat and lifeless to tons of body, volume and lift!  I'm not excited just because the teeze w/ eez was gifted to me, but because it really WORKS!  I've been using it almost every day since I've gotten mine.  Love it!

The Big Tease: video hair tutorial on how I create volume.

So yesterday I posted a video on I make my hair curly.  Today, I’m going to show you how I make it BIG!  Remember the Spornette Little Wonder teasing brush I bought a few days ago?  Well, you’re about to see it in action!

I curled my hair this morning and about 2 hours later it looked like this:

With a little bit of help from my Little Wonder, however, I can get it to look like this:

In addition to making your hair look full and voluminous when it's down, you can create a very pretty look by simply putting a clip in your hair.  The bouffant from the teasing makes for a very polished and elegant hairstyle.

Spornette Little Wonder: my new teasing brush!

Hey y'all!  I want to introduce you to my new best buddy: the Little Wonder Teasing Brush, by Spornette. (is it just me, or does the name sound slightly profane? lol)

I LOVE big hair.  By nature, I'm an over-the-top kinda gal to start.  I like my makeup to stand out, so why shouldn't my hair do the same?  All these years I've been using the typical teasing comb that my mother has used:

It does the job OK, but I've been wanting something more efficient that would give me optimum volume.  Having, slick, stick-straight Asian hair really doesn't help either.  My hair is happiest when it's limp-looking and is very stubborn about being styled the way I want it to be. :P

So anyway, I picked up the Little Wonder at my local beauty supply store for about $5.  This is me and my hair after walking around town for about six hours on a breezy Saturday morning:

I'd say the Little Wonder did a pretty wonderful job, don't you think?  I found that it was easier to get more volume with less effort using my new teasing brush than the old teasing comb.  I guess the triple row of teeth plus boar bristles make the process more efficient.  I'm definitely going to practice more with it to see just how big I can get it, yeah! :D
